to this point Krista has avoided the modern pitfall of adding “trendy” socio-political agendas, the last thing I want added to my pleasure reading is more lecturing by thoughtless political ideologies, I have enjoyed her skill in telling a “timeless” tale, not needing the trappings of trendy-edgy conformity gear and agendas, they are truly tales of people, each with a life story, a personality and each so entertaining when they interact as the tale unfolds. I think the other authors write books more like Kristen’s “Paws and claws” series… good, but, not as intricate and rich as any of the “Domestic Diva” series so far. I like audio books, I have little time to sit and read… and the narrator is marvelous.

Krista Davis creates a narrative of marvelously annoying and marvelously wonderful characters and weaves them through complexities of character and event… unlike most mysteries, I find myself listening to the stories again, hearing something I missed the first time. I am only familiar with one of the other series suggested and sorry to say, it lacked the character development and intricacy of story I like to much in the “domestic Diva” books.
